Day 4
Yoga shmoga holy yoga!!! This was way harder than what I was expeting. I knew it was long, an hour and a half, but wow I didn't know yoga could be such a good work out. The first half of the dvd is the hardest and second is more stretching and relaxing which I really liked. Tomorrow I think is legs or something so we'll see how that goes. I have been sore since Monday, but I'm really enjoying all the work outs and stuff. I just really hope that it works. I NEED HELP WITH MY EATING!!!! I just need to be more disciplined but I'm just so weak in that area. Anyway, til tomorrow!

Day 3
All i have to say is HOLY COW! So the arms and shoulders workout portion wasn't too bad. i felt tired, but i could at least do all of the moves. i used mostly 5 lbs and a couple times had to go down to the 2 lbs. So that's not what the holy cow is for. the HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is for the Ab Ripper X that i had to do this morning. if you are able to do them all with the video you end up doing 349 between the variety of the crunches that do. i maybe did a 100 of them. My stomach muscles are definately a very, very, very, very, very weak part of my body. i sure hope that by the 90th day i can do all 349! Oh and did i mention i hurt all over? Well i do. it's a good hurt because i know that means my muscles are being worked, but man it does hurt!

Day 2
Okay so all day yesterday i was thinking, "man i'm not even sore i sure hope that this thing was worth it. Then at about 9 pm i did something and could feel the muscle soreness in my abs and when i woke up this morning it was like ow, ow, ow. i was able to go at it this morning and do Cardio X. Michael got up and did it with me as well today. i really liked cardio x way better than the core synergistics that we did yesterday. That's not saying it was super easy, but i could at least do the majority of the moves. Tomorrow we do Arms and shoulders so hopefully i can type a blog post tomorrow! Oh and just so i have it recorded somewhere i weighed 146.0 on Oct. 19, 2009 and by the time my 90 days is up i hope to be in the 125 lbs ball park!

Day 1
Okay so i started my P90X today! i thought i'd start a week later than i had planned because we had been sick and just thought my body needed the rest. You're suppose to take the fit test a few days before you begin, but we had a crazy week last week and were out of town this past weekend so i did it this morning instead. Here are my results for day 1:
Resting Heart Rate: 56 bpm
Pull-ups: 1/4 of one (should be able to do 1 if female)
Vertical Leap: 9 in (at least 3 in if female)
Push-ups: 10 (at least 3 for a female)
Toe Touch: 0 in.
Wall Squat: 1.05 (at least a minute)
Bicep Curl: 15 @ 8 lbs (10 with 8lbs)
in and outs: 20 (should be able to do 25)
So i felt like i didn't do too shabby at my fit test. Obviously need to work on the abs and pull-ups, but otherwise i felt pretty good. Then i started the actual work-out
Core Synergistices: One word: WOW! i have a lot of improvement to make! i didn't do the bonus round, but at least did all the other workouts, not necissarily a lot of them, but i did each one, most on the low impact.
i selected the music and cues choice at the beginning and i think tomorrow i'll go with just cues. i think that it helps with telling you what your form should look like and things like that that i need a bit more help with since i'm a beginner. i don't feel to too sore or tired, maybe i should have pushed just a tad bit harder, i don't know, i say that now, but not sure i really could have.
i also took my before pics, but i highly doubt you'll see those on here, but we'll see, maybe once day 30 comes and i've made some significant difference i will, just to show the difference. We'll just have to wait and see. As for the diet i think i'm just going to try one that my mom has done instead of theirs since my goal is to just loose weight and look good and not become totally ripped so we'll try that out for a bit. The hard part will be to not eat sweets. i have a sugar addiction so that is definately going to be the most difficult part for me. And we'll see you tomorrow after i push play again!

Receiving the P90X
Well i've been researching p90x for the past few weeks and my hubby and i have decided to try it out and see how it goes. i haven't lost a lot of the weight that i have had postpartum and my baby is almost 8 months old, sad:( So that is the motivation for doing P90X. Everything i've read it seems like people have really good success even though it is very challenging, but i'm saying Bring it! i'm sick of this jelly belly. i'll be doing the lean version to try and lose as much weight as possible and then the 2nd time around i'll go with the classic version. We actually found our copy on Amazon so hopefully it's not pirated and is the real workouts! it does appear to be so. We'll be posting our before pics in the next post with our pre-fit test workout. BRiNG iT!!!
