Okay so i started my P90X today! i thought i'd start a week later than i had planned because we had been sick and just thought my body needed the rest. You're suppose to take the fit test a few days before you begin, but we had a crazy week last week and were out of town this past weekend so i did it this morning instead. Here are my results for day 1:
Resting Heart Rate: 56 bpm
Pull-ups: 1/4 of one (should be able to do 1 if female)
Vertical Leap: 9 in (at least 3 in if female)
Push-ups: 10 (at least 3 for a female)
Toe Touch: 0 in.
Wall Squat: 1.05 (at least a minute)
Bicep Curl: 15 @ 8 lbs (10 with 8lbs)
in and outs: 20 (should be able to do 25)
So i felt like i didn't do too shabby at my fit test. Obviously need to work on the abs and pull-ups, but otherwise i felt pretty good. Then i started the actual work-out
Core Synergistices: One word: WOW! i have a lot of improvement to make! i didn't do the bonus round, but at least did all the other workouts, not necissarily a lot of them, but i did each one, most on the low impact.
i selected the music and cues choice at the beginning and i think tomorrow i'll go with just cues. i think that it helps with telling you what your form should look like and things like that that i need a bit more help with since i'm a beginner. i don't feel to too sore or tired, maybe i should have pushed just a tad bit harder, i don't know, i say that now, but not sure i really could have.
i also took my before pics, but i highly doubt you'll see those on here, but we'll see, maybe once day 30 comes and i've made some significant difference i will, just to show the difference. We'll just have to wait and see. As for the diet i think i'm just going to try one that my mom has done instead of theirs since my goal is to just loose weight and look good and not become totally ripped so we'll try that out for a bit. The hard part will be to not eat sweets. i have a sugar addiction so that is definately going to be the most difficult part for me. And we'll see you tomorrow after i push play again!
